Beth Tyson is the manager of the Community Closet. Beth grew up in Havre de Grace, MD, and resides there today with her husband, Frank, and Pomerainian Miss Pretty. She has two daughters and three grandchildren, one in the Air Force and two in college. Over the years, Beth has held various positions in business and the health field industry. After retiring in 2015, she took a year off to discover her next step which eventually let to New Hope Community Thrift Store. This step has proved to be challenging, but most of all a HUGE blessing and very rewarding.
Beth and her husband enjoy the great outdoors whenever they can, family gatherings, and discovering new places to visit. She enjoys crafts such as working in leather, paper, beads and ceramic mediums. She has a passion for cooking, but her greatest passion is for the Lord Jesus.
Krystal Stoltzfus is an assistant manager at the Community Closet. She grew up in Quarryville and currently lives in Willow Street with her husband, David. They are both involved with the youth group at Encounter Church, which is their church family.
Krystal enjoys music, baking, trying new recipes, plants, spending time with her husband, and experiencing new places.
Russell (Russ) Shaffer is an assistant manager at the Community Closet. He was born and raised in Lancaster County and currently resides in Brownstown. Russ has 4 children and 6 grandchildren.
Hired in July, 2018, Russ came to us with 30 years of retail management experience. He enjoys working at New Hope and sends a big thank you to all our volunteers an customers.
