Beth Tyson is the manager of the Community Closet. Beth grew up in Havre de Grace, MD, and resides there today with her husband, Frank, and Pomerainian Miss Pretty. She has two daughters and three grandchildren, one in the Air Force and two in college. Over the years, Beth has held various positions in business and the health field industry. After retiring in 2015, she took a year off to discover her next step which eventually let to New Hope Community Thrift Store. This step has proved to be challenging, but most of all a HUGE blessing and very rewarding.
Beth and her husband enjoy the great outdoors whenever they can, family gatherings, and discovering new places to visit. She enjoys crafts such as working in leather, paper, beads and ceramic mediums. She has a passion for cooking, but her greatest passion is for the Lord Jesus.
Alison Chambers is the Assistant Manager of the Community Closet. Alison first started at the thrift store as a volunteer in 2013, after being a stay at home mom of four children for twenty years. She loves her job, the volunteers and the many people she meets at the store.
Alison lives in Quarryville and attends Timberline Church. In her free time she enjoys taking walks, and doing arts and crafts.
