New Hope Community Life Executive Director
General Responsibilities:
1. Organization Mission and Strategy: Works with the board of directors and staff to ensure that the mission is fulfilled through services offered, strategic planning, and community connections.
Communicate, as the primary spokesperson for New Hope, the organization’s mission to donors, volunteers, and the community.
Maintain a positive image of New Hope by being active and visible in the community and by building relationships with other professional, civic, church, and private organizations.
Collaborate with the board to develop and execute a strategic plan.
Communicate all information necessary for the Board to function properly and to make informed decisions.
2. Financial Stewardship and Oversight: Develops resources sufficient to ensure the financial health of New Hope.
Fundraise and develop revenue streams necessary to support New Hope’s mission.
Work with the board treasurer to submit financial reports for board review and decision making.
Develop and implement a budget, ensuring funds are allocated accordingly.
3. Organization Operations: Oversees and allocates resources to ensure that operations are effective and ministry focused.
Hire, retain and evaluate competent, qualified staff.
Encourage staff professional development.
Ensure team members are supported and cared for.
Administer New Hope’s policies and procedures.
Professional Qualifications Needed
Bachelor's Degree from Accredited College/University preferred.
Minimum five years' experience in management position - nonprofit experience preferred.
Fundraising experience, including donor development and management.
Demonstrated ability to oversee and collaborate with staff.
Experience in managing a budget of $500K or more.
Willingness to sign a statement of faith.

Part-time Contracted Children’s Counselor
New Hope Counseling Center is growing and looking to hire a part-time contracted counselor to work with children ages 6-10 one day/week. New Hope is a Christ inspired counseling center that exists to provide hope and restoration through compassionate, professional counseling and is located in Quarryville, PA. We are seeking a counselor who is an LPC, working toward licensure or is a certified play therapist. We offer both in-person and telehealth sessions. Office Coordinator
Job Summary:
The Office Coordinator offers general administrative support to the New Hope staff and counseling team, including the thrift store staff. The coordinator oversees essential office operations including QuickBooks, phone calls, emails and mail. The purpose of New Hope Counseling Center is to offer hope and restoration through compassionate, professional counseling.
Duties and Responsibilities: Accounting
Enter deposits and payables in QuickBooks and reconcile each account in QuickBooks each month
Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements each month
Pay all bills
Accept payments from clients
File monthly and quarterly taxes
Oversee timesheets for staff. Report hours to payroll. Record PTO
Oversee timesheets for counselors including cutting their checks
Prepare yearly paperwork for the accountant
Duties and Responsibilities: Clerical
Answer all calls and voice messages, emails and other messages
Respond to requests for those who wish to become new clients. Answer their questions, assign them to a counselor and send them the new client paperwork
Maintain and update the donor management system and the email list
Maintain and update HR files
Maintain and update computer and paper files
Maintain and order office supplies including paper goods in kitchen area and restrooms
Other Duties
Assist with yearly fundraising event as needed
Take trash out weekly and replenish paper goods in the restrooms and kitchen
Other duties as assigned
