As a practicing counselor, Kathy strives to create a bastion of warmth and safety for all who seek healing. By offering hospitality, recognizing the face of God in others, acknowledging the darkness in life, acting in a congruent manner, unconditionally accepting people for who they are, and exercising empathy, it is her hope to answer God's call to build the Kingdom here on earth.

Even though her days as a school teacher are coming to an end, they have provided valuable experiences as a springboard for this new ministry as a counselor.
