How do I become a client at New Hope?

When you call, you will be asked some basic questions to see if New Hope offers the type of counseling you are looking for. During this call, you will be assessed and guided to the best choice of counseling given your individual situation. This call would take about 5 minutes.

What types of counseling do you specialize in?

New Hope offers counseling for couples and individuals who are dealing with depression, stress, anxiety, parenting and caregiving issues, grief and loss, adjustment difficulties, life transitions, chronic pain and illness, self-esteem, spiritual or relationship issues.

How much does it cost?

Each session costs $100. However, we never want a client to be turned away because of finances. You can apply through our Hope Chest Fund to determine whether you qualify for a reduced rate. Please call our office for more information.

Can I schedule an appointment online?

A phone call is always a first good step to see if New Hope is the right fit for you.

Where are you located?

New Hope is located at 248A Maple Ave. in the heart of Quarryville. New Hope is in a quiet location just off of Fourth St. behind Beiler-Campbell Realty.

Do you take insurance?

While we do not accept insurance, we can supply all clients with a detailed, paid receipt that includes the required information that can be submitted to an insurance company. We recommend that all clients contact their insurance provider with any reimbursement questions.

Do you offer evening hours?

Yes, we do! Several of the counselors at New Hope see clients during evening hours.

How long will my session last?

Sessions typically last 50 minutes.

How often will I see my counselor?

The counselor will discuss this with you. You will likely have appointments weekly for the first sessions. Sessions may then move to every other week.

Are the counselors Christian?

The counselors at New Hope are Christians who respect the beliefs of all clients.
